Disance Work Day #8

Kia Ora Potatoes!

How have you guys been? QwQ
Ok, so you know those calls we have with our literacy teachers in the morning? Well we had to dress up, the theme was 'Absurd'
I wore a cat onesie, a cake hat with 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' written on it, and I had cheerleading pom poms that I put in my hat to look like a wig. I looked like an idiot XD

So today we didn't really do literacy and numeracy, we did 'Fri-yay tasks'
There were 6 thinks to choose from off a slide, 3 of the slides were res, the other 3 were blue, we had to do 1 of each colour, or more if we wanted to. The first task I did was a blue one,

Blue task:
For the blue task I did we had to use emoji's to make idioms/sayings. we put out emoji's on a slide but didn't say what the idioms/sayings were so the teachers/other students could guess what they are, I have a screenshot of my slide here, can you guess what the idioms/sayings are?:
I'll put the answers on my next post on Monday.

Red Task:
All the red tasks were around Anzac day, all arts and crafts kind of stuff. The first 2 I couldn't do because I didn't have the materials and we cant go and get any materials at the moment so I did the 3rd one, I had to create an artwork either digital or by hand that tells a story. the example was 3 images into 1, it started with 3 kids playing, then those 3 kids all grown up going off to war, then the 3rd one was their parents grieving them by their grave cross's. I'm guilty of using the same story and layout. but it's a tiny bit different. the last image is anyway. Welp, have a look:

Mine is a little bit different, the example was all silhouette mine changes from silhouette to not silhouette. At least it looks good!

I hope you enjoyed reading!
I actually had something to say at the start this time!
Well, I'll see you on Monday!
Good day Potatoes!

  1. Jayde, I absolutely love this artwork It is powerful and really well created. I like how you have used the angel wings to show them in the final picture. It is so important to remember the fallen, even though we can't go to a service this year.

    scaredy cat
    fish out of water

Keep up the awesome work Jayde.
