Distance Work Day #9

KIA ORA POTATOES!!

I hope you all had an amazing long weekend!
I made friends with a bag of chips. literally, I drew a face on the bag and talked to it like it was my friend. Even my cat looked at me weird.
His name is Gerald. I ate him. And then held a funeral in my bedroom. all my stuffed toys came, so did my cat but she left 10 seconds in. I have another bag of chips friend now. Her name is Barbra. I'll probably do the same thing with her that I did with Gerald.
Why am I posting again? Oh right!

Literacy:
We had to write 3-4 paragraphs about what we would celebrate after the world ends. :)
In 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy', earth os destroyed, so we have to write about what we think is the most valuable thing to humankind and why we must celebrate it. I wrote 2 things because I couldn't choose between them.
That photo of bread was actually my breakfast. (Small text: I told you I was eating plain bread)
and that photo of a music sheet is a song I wrote for the piano. (small text: This is a song I wrote)
For literacy, I also read chapter 5 of 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy'

Math:
Coordinates on a Cartesian Plane. Now I know what they're called at least. I used to call it a 4-square math grid. but Cartesian Plane works too. Anyway, we had to watch a few videos about the plane, and then we had to play 4 games that could enhance our understanding of a plane and take screenshots of successful attempts., and then we had to design a building layout containing 4 right angles, have a vertex on a coordinate, and label all vertices. this is my slide:

I tried my best to make it look neat, but it still looks a little bit messy. at least I think it looks messy. does it look messy? I don't know anymore.

If you read my blog post from Friday, you would've seen my emoji idioms/sayings, I shall reveal the answers!

how many did you get right?

I really hope you enjoyed reading this post
I'll be posting again tomorrow.
Bye!
