Distance Work Day #14

Greetings Fellow Potatoes!

Hope you're all having amazing days! my day consisted of typing, reading, typing, brainpower, typing, and did I mention typing? :P

Literacy:
SCIENCE!! (Fun fact: I love reading random articles on scientific discoveries, so this task was right up my ally!) to summarise what we had to do: we had to choose and read something to do with scientific discoveries/technology then write about it in our own words. I saw a lot of people doing it on, climate change, COVID-19 (of course), animals, and loads of other stuff, I did mine on microplastics, witch it kinda global warming but focuses more on where microplastics end up when they're in the ocean. I also tried to make my slide look aesthetic and cute, have a look!
If you want to look at the site I used, here's a  link:

Maths:
I had fun doing maths again today. this is a scientific discovery itself, "Jayde can have fun doing maths" haha. ok, math, we had to find the area/missing measurements of a triangle and composite shapes. Again, sounds a lot more boring now that I type it out. that's 2 days in a row now!
anyway.. have a look at my slides.

the last 2 (9 & 10) have a lot more writing than the other 8 @-@.
would you find doing all this math fun like I do?  I get a feeling not many people would respond to this question 'yes' but you never know!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading this post!
What do you prefer, Literacy(Reading&Writing) or Numeracy(Math)? Tell me in the comments!
I'll see you all next time!
Bye!
~Potato
